14th Century Dark Empire Heater Shield

Description:

This 14th century heater shield was used mainly by Calvary. The medium sized shield was not as long as the Kite shield, which made it perfect for the cavalry. It was very common for this shield to have coats of arms or heraldry emblazed on the front of them, to show who the holder was or who he fought for. This black canvas is made from steel with a black finish so you can design and create a look of beauty. Fight under your own colors and win the fair maidens hand or maybe you are a maiden fighting for your own hand. In the center of the back is a steel handle running vertically with a faux leather wrap for comfort. The outer edge has a raised decorative border with steel rivets intermittently spaced around the entire shield. Storm the castle on your trusty stead or act in a play.
